Childcare comes to Melbourne Square
- 30/06/2020
Rushing to childcare pick-up or drop off can often be one of the most stressful parts of a parent’s morning, but at Melbourne Square we are making it easier than ever for our residents and neighbours.
As part of the completion of our first stage later this year, we will open Melbourne Square’s own on-site childcare for the community, the Nido Early School, a subsidiary of nationally regarded provider Think Childcare.
Already taking enrolments, Nido offers 87 places for children aged 6 weeks to school age across an artful space spanning 1,250 square metres. And for busy parents there will be convenient undercover pick-up and drop-off facilities to make life easier.
Nido will be located on level-two of the development with views over our expansive 3,700 square metre public park, and will complement our residential and office towers by providing a world-class learning environment right at our residents’ doorstep, as well as for workers at MSQ Commercial and the broader public.
For parents and carers in less of a rush, the childcare centre is co-located with our planned retail precinct, so you can enjoy a coffee at one of our cafes or do the weekly grocery shop at the full-line Woolworths supermarket located in the precinct.
The Nido collection of Early Schools for children was launched in 2014 and champions a unique approach to learning, inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy - a long-standing Italian education concept which fosters an environment for children where they are encouraged to create, trust, explore, discover and excel.
Expressions of interest for enrolments at the new Nido Early School are now open and the centre is expected to open following the completion of stage-one of the development in December. For more information or to make an enquiry, please visit: nidoearlyschool.com.au
