Our Park is Open!

We are thrilled to announce we have reopened our new public park - the largest in Southbank!
Spanning more than 3,745 square metres and designed by Taylor Cullity Lethlean - the nationally-recognised team behind Birrarung Marr – our lush green space is a versatile space - perfect for a dog walk, laying in the sun or even a stair workout with a buddy.
Located off Kavanagh Street at the entrance to Melbourne Square, the park undulates with gentle slopes and rises, providing an amphitheatre vibe, while its north-facing vistas take advantage of the sun. A water feature cascades down the pathway, leading visitors up to a terrace that will eventually house a range of cafes and eateries.
Of the stunning space, TCL managing director Perry Lethlean said it would be a centrepiece of Southbank.
“The park is part of a network of gardens inspired by Melbourne’s iconic Royal Botanic Gardens and brings forth qualities from other cities such as Paris, Berlin and Spain,” he said.
“As this is such an urban environment, we have created vistas and seating nestled among the greenery. Generous promenades and plazas encourage the Italian tradition of promenading – taking an evening walk with family and friends. It’s about creating opportunities for residents of Melbourne Square and other buildings in Southbank to engage with nature.”
